[August 29, 2015] To celebrate their 2nd anniversary, Share Movement organized a workshop party and invited five guest speakers from various fields to share their expertise. I’ve been following their Instagram for a while now and I just can’t let this deal pass me by. Imagine: Php 1,200 for 5 topics –from blogging, fashion, mobile photography, basic watercolor and inspirational talk — who would want to miss that?
Attendees were greeted with this simple but awesome setup from Mabby Makes!
The program started with Jam Pangilinan sharing to us the objective of Share Movement, and how all proceeds from the workshop will go to the Joseph Feeding Mission, the mission arm of The Rock of My Salvation Media Ministries.
Now, let’s start with our first speaker– Kisty Mea, a travel enthusiast who shared basic blogging tips for those who wanted to start their own blog.
Next, Reese Lansangan for some Asian Kawaii-fashion. Funny how she shared to us her fashion evolution as a kid to now. Oh and since I got intrigued by her, I followed her in Instagram and learned she’ll be releasing her first album soon! Pretty neat, eh?
We had our lunch break after Raniel’s topic. Thank you, St. Hale for this mouthwatering cookie-marshmallow goodness!
And oh, we also got this sweet macaroons from Merry Macarons. Best I’ve tasted since I cannot remember when.
Second half of the event was my favorite part. It started with Ginger De Guia, who I’ve also been following for a while now even before this workshop. Aside from teaching us the basics in watercolor techniques, she even gave us a Prang set, brushes and pads to start with!
Last but definitely not the least, Rhiza Oyos shared to us how she took a risk in leaving her 9-6 job to find her passion and do what she loves through Pursuit Manila. Been following her now in Instagram and I just love how inspiring her feed is.
Ending this workshop with new friends and memories, thank you Share Movement for a fun-filled and inspiring Saturday. This quote is now engraved deeply in my heart:
“Always remember that you have have the capacity to bless other just as you have been blessed.”
That’s it for now. <3 always, Irene
