Intramuros 2015

[April 4, 2015] Let me start my blogging comeback with my supposed to be blog post six months ago, and that is my birthday month — April! It was a pretty difficult month, a struggle, reminded me of lost hopes and betrayal. BUT don’t worry, I’m not going to dwell with that in this post, because just like any other who’s excited with their birthday, I started the month as hopeful and positive.

You guys know well how much I love my family, and with them I started my celebration. Since we do not have the luxury of time to go somewhere else, we decided to have our day trip to the so-called Old Manila–Intramuros!

For the love of old buildings and walls, of history and memories, this place still has its charm. Check out few of our photos:

We ended the day with dinner at 9 Spoons, The Bayleaf. We were supposed to stay at the roof deck but then decided to stay inside the restaurant because of the rain. Honestly, I cannot remember what we ate or if the food was good. All I remember is how we stayed in the restaurant a bit later than we usually do because we just keep on talking — talking about the year that was, our childhood, our annoying habits. Yep, I felt good that night. I believe that was a good start.

I have a long list to backtrack and more photos to upload. That’s it for now!

<3 always, Irene
